Design Brief
In this design brief we were tasked to rebrand Mr. Sheen. They made a new product that is different from their usual polish products.
We must create a new mascot, a new name that must include the word Sheen, for the surface cleaner.
My Approach
With the Sheen character, i wanted to do a rubber hose like character to incorporate something fun that would draw in the younger audience but also keep the older consumers for some nostalgia on old cartoons. Here we have my Rubber hose Cleaning Bottle!
Technique
I used the program Procreate to sketch out my ideas for my rubber hose character, then after I completed the sketches, I brought it onto Adobe Illustrator where I used the pen tool and paint tool to make him come to life!
When coming up with ideas for my Sheen rebranding, I had plenty of ideas to comb through. As seen below, I had gone through a few ideas such as Superhero themed one, an animal and a scientist. Although one theme had stayed the same throughout the whole process, and that was the rubber hose character design.
